Travis Kelce picks out two Kansas City Chiefs players as 'dogs' who he says will revamp the team

NFL fans are already counting down the days on the calendar to the start of the 2024 season.

At this point in the offseason, when training camp is about to begin, American football lovers are already beginning to realise that the return is near.

For the Kansas City Chiefs, it’s the golden year. The squad will be meeting this coming Friday to start training camp.

There will be 19 days of joint training at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Of these days, 17 practice sessions will be open to the public. The remaining two will only be available to Chiefs members.

Travis Kelce is ready for another season

Kansas City legend and one of the best (if not the best) tight ends in the league, Travis Kelce, has had an offseason full of news.

He showed that he’s a multi-purpose guy. He plays golf, is a good boyfriend, is an actor, appears as a ‘dancer’ in a show and, of course, hosts a famous podcast.

Kelce signed a two-year extension with KC, making him the highest-paid TE in the NFL on an annual basis. A contract worth $34.25 million.

At almost 35, he still puts on a show on the field and proves to have plenty of gas in the tank and the will to make things happen.

The offensive power that Kansas City has brought to 2024

Last week, at the American Century Championship at Lake Tahoe, Kelce spoke to NBC Sports about the new weapons on the roster.

This was probably the last “interview” the tight end gave to a media outlet before the start of the season. Let’s see how the press conferences go during training camp.

“We got Xavier Worthy. We got Marquise Brown. We got some dogs,” claimed. ”We got some unbelievable talent, some great coaches – and obviously the front office that brings it all together. We’ve got the full arsenal over there in Kansas City.”

He spoke about the importance of always rebuilding the team.

“You’ve got to revamp the team every single year. You’ve got to remold the team. Hopefully, out in St. Joe, we can get a head start on that. And then throughout the course of the season – as you saw last year – we got better as the season went on.

Kelce was asked about the year of the three-peat and he’s motivated, even more so after the whirlwind of good things he experienced in the offseason.

“So it’s gonna be a long haul, if we get a chance to do it. But I’m just excited to get back into the football world. It’s been a crazy offseason for me, so I’m ready to get back to work.”

“Oh, you know it’s possible. Anything is possible, we knew that,” said with a smirk.
