Zirkzee won’t play v Rosenborg

Joshua Zirkzee will not be playing for Manchester United v Rosenborg, he is not part of the 25-man squad.

Zirkzee was playing at Euro 2024 just a week ago and is now in his mandated rest period after the tournament.

He explained via club media: “I have to take a short break now after being with the national team, but I’ll be coming back ready to make an impact straight away.”

Zirkzee and Fernandes should return to the Manchester United squad for the pre-season tour of the USA, where we hope to see them link up for the first time.
