Frankfurt sign Danish talent Oscar Højlund

Eintracht Frankfurt have signed Danish 19-year-old talent Oscar Højlund from FC Copenhagen until June 2029, the Bundesliga club said on Wednesday.

According to media reports, Frankfurt are to pay €1.34 million ($1.45 million) plus bonuses for the transfer.

His older brother, Rasmus, is a first-team regular at Manchester United, while his twin, Emil, plays for Copenhagen.

"In Oscar Højlund we’re signing a very talented player, who has already gained international experience despite his young age, and is also a very good fit for us given his excellent footballing ability and character," sporting director Timmo Hardung said.

Højlund added: "I’m happy to be an Eagle now and I’m already looking forward to experiencing what the Eintracht fans are like for myself."
