At 64, Marie Osmond says she’s having the best time of her life with her nine grandchildren!

"It sounds silly, but the world often makes women feel that if it’s not about their job or their portfolio, it’s not important,” Osmond explained. "To me right now, the most important thing is those kids."

After spending decades concentrating on her country music and performing nightly in her Donny and Marie Las Vegas residency show, she’s spending time with family and chasing adventure.

"After 11 years in Las Vegas, I decided I wanted to start doing some things," Osmond noted. "I realized that no one is going to know me in 50 years. But my family will if I spend time with them now."

The singer’s love life has been a real roller coaster ride. She divorced second hubby Brian Blosil and has remarried Steve Craig, her first and now third husband who she wed in 2011 after a 25-year hiatus! These days, Craig is fueling her thrill ride desires.

"He’s been so great with me and my bucket list,” said Osmond. "I told him, ‘I want to go to Brazil,’ and he’s like, 'go to Brazil,’ and he’s like, ‘OK!’ I’ve always loved adventure, but you can’t do something stupid when your show is depending on you. When you’re under contract, it’s your job to not break a leg or an arm."

Osmond got a new lease on life when she became a Nutrisystem spokesperson in 2007 and peeled off more than 50 pounds. "I think some of my weight issues went clear back to some of the abuse I endured as a child," she said. “It seems we spend the last half of our lives fixing what the first half did to us."

She also got serious when her family became concerned about her health. "Heart issues run in my family, and the women tended to die in their 60s,” Osmond confided. "That was my motivation. Mentally, I’m about 17. Physically, I feel about 25."

So far, the "little bit country" singer has gone skydiving, visited “beautiful” Iceland and has plans to go zip-lining at Iguazu Falls in Brazil.

"I’m terrified of heights,” Osmond admitted. "But I just believe we should conquer our fears. It’s fun to discover and work on yourself. I think the best way to heal the little kid in me is to be the best version of an adult I can be."
