Dame Zandra Rhodes' top style tip is to embrace colour in later years. The 83-year-old fashion designer - who is known for her bright pink hair 'do - has insisted the style-conscious shouldn't ditch colours as they get older - insisting "cheerful" brights are much more fun than than opting for a more neutral palette. A replica of Freddie Mercury’s iconic cape is set to feature in a new fashion exhibition. The copy of the famous cloak worn by Queen’s late frontman was created by fashion designer Dame Zandra Rhodes, 83, and will go on display at the Salisbury Museum as part the ‘Fashioning Our World’ exhibition, which was co-curated by a group of young fashion fans. Zandra Rhodes vowed to "live longer" when she was told she was terminally ill - because she needed to finish her Ikea range.
