For this week’s Loud List, we have 10 unforgettable David Lee Roth moments. The vocalist isn’t known as “Diamond Dave” for no reason. Though he’s best known as the singer of Van Halen, Roth also became famous for his extravagant stage performances, complete with high kicks, jumps and other eye-catching moves that added another element of excitement to the band’s already flashy live shows. After parting ways with Van Halen in the ’80s, Roth went on to have a successful solo career. He eventually returned to the group for a highly-anticipated reunion in the 2000s, and they put out one final reco...

Sleep Token are one of the most captivating bands in heavy music today, and thus a fan has shared a theory online about why frontman Vessel has six eyes. The band leader sports a white mask with a red design across it, and has six openings for eyes. Though the other members debuted new masks in late 2023 to mark “a new era” in their career, Vessel’s has stayed the same. YouTuber Alex Tamulis uploaded a video over the weekend sharing his theory on why the vocalist’s mask has six eyes, and what the significance of them could be. Vessel Is an Oracle“In my opinion, it’s because he has the powers o...

His heart belongs to Taylor Swift, but NFL star Travis Kelce‘s voice was all about Whitesnake at the 2024 American Century karaoke bash tied to the celebrity golf tournament taking place in Lake Tahoe, Nevada on Thursday (June 11). Kelce was on hand to support his brother, retired Philadelphia Eagles lineman and new ESPN analy...

The “iilness” that forced Pearl Jam to cancel multiple overseas tour dates in late June and early July has been described by Eddie Vedder as something that “almost felt like a near-death experience.” On Saturday (July 6), the band returned to the stage in Barcelona, Spain, touring in support of their new album, Dark Matter. At the encore of that show, Vedder customarily walked out to perform an acoustic song by himself. This time, it was “Just Breathe,” after which he addressed the crowd, detailing the aforementioned illness. “Can I just say that the last week, it almost felt like a near-death...

In this week’s Loud List, we made a video compilation of rockers trash talking other artists. Rock and metal may not have as much drama as the rap and hip-hop worlds do (shout out to XXL), but they still have their fair share. Whether it was inspired by a feud or just a simple lack of respect, there’s plenty of footage of rock and metal artists trash talking others. In the compilation, you’ll see Dave Mustaine explaining what separated Megadeth from Metallica back in the ’80s, members of Muse mocking and making fun of Slipknot, Marky Ramone and Johnny Rotten of the Sex Pistols going back and f...

Drummer Jay Weinberg has made his recording return, appearing on an all-star song celebrating the music of Suicidal Tendencies. As many fans know, after his split with Slipknot, the drummer found a new home in both of Mike Muir’s bands, Suicidal Tendencies and Infectious Grooves. Now he’s made his first appearance on a Suicidal Tendencies recording, playing on the song “Nos Sonos Familia.” If the track sounds a bit familiar to Suicidal Tendencies fans, there’s a reason. The song is actually a Portuguese language re-recording of the group’s 1999 song “We Are Family” featuring a number of promin...

Def Leppard and Journey kicked off their co-headlining North American tour on Saturday at St. Louis’ Busch Stadium, with support from Cheap Trick. You can see all three set lists and video from the show below. The lion’s share of Def Leppard’s set came from their two biggest albums, Pyromania and Hysteria, which accounted for a combined 13 of their 18 songs. They’ve reintroduced Pyromania opener “Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)” into their set, which they hadn’t played live since 2015 prior to an intimate June show at SiriusXM’s the Garage. “Comin’ Under Fire” also appeared in the set for just the...

Steve-O has become one of the most well known stunt performers, but you might be surprised by his income from the first season of the hit series Jackass. During a recent appearance on the X5 podcast, the stunt artist revealed exactly how much he made, as well as how he was paid per stunt rather than per episode. Given that Steve-O quickly became a fan favorite on the MTV series, you might think that he rose to the top of pack when it came to pay for his stunts on the show, but as he reveals, he wasn’t exactly collecting a windfall. How Steve-O Was Paid for JackassAs the stunt performer reveale...

Corey Taylor and mgk may have had the dumbest rock feud ever. We’ve covered a couple of different rock and metal feuds in our Behind the Feud series on YouTube, including the rivalries between Slipknot and Mushroomhead, Dave Mustaine and Metallica, Axl Rose and Slash of Guns N’ Roses and Trent Reznor and Marilyn Manson. In the latest episode, we cover Taylor and mgk’s beef, which went on for a bit a few years ago. The situation seemed to have started with a dig by Taylor, but he later revealed that it was really a comment that mgk made in late 2020 during an interview with Spotify’s Allison Ha...
