For this week’s Loud List, we have 10 unforgettable David Lee Roth moments. The vocalist isn’t known as “Diamond Dave” for no reason. Though he’s best known as the singer of Van Halen, Roth also became famous for his extravagant stage performances, complete with high kicks, jumps and other eye-catching moves that added another element of excitement to the band’s already flashy live shows. After parting ways with Van Halen in the ’80s, Roth went on to have a successful solo career. He eventually returned to the group for a highly-anticipated reunion in the 2000s, and they put out one final reco...

Creed initially disbanded in June 2004, a full year after their last activity, but the band’s darkest times actually preceded their split, as Mark Tremonti reveals in a recent Spin interview. In fact, Tremonti can point to the song “One Last Breath” as a track where the band was their darkest time as a group, feeling that they were able to channel the internal fracture into what has become one of their most beloved songs. The guitarist told Spin, “That song came out at the perfect time because Creed was going through its initial stages of breaking apart. It was probably the darkest time for th...

The viral “Hawk Tuah Girl” (real name Haliey Welch) has infiltrated every corner of the internet, including anthemic heavy metal. Yes, there’s now an original song about the internet’s biggest overnight celebrity right now. The song was uploaded to a YouTube channel (named Hawk Tuah) that was created on June 24. Incredibly, the username was available, so hats off to that quick-thinker. The song is accompanied by an image of an action movie parody, with Welch’s head atop a gun-wielding soldier’s body, leaning out of an airborne helicopter with a stream of spit jetting out from her mouth.
