Finland's Prime Minister Petteri Orpo on Monday urged parliament not to weaken a deportation bill that would allow Finnish border authorities to refuse to accept asylum applications in certain circumstances. An internal Finnish Party committee has recommended that MP Timo Vornanen be kicked out of the party's parliamentary group, after he was arrested for his suspected involvement in a shooting incident outside a Helsinki karaoke bar last Friday morning.
