Charlie Cox doesn't want to play James Bond. The 40-year-old actor - who portrays MI6 agent Adam Lawrence in upcoming Netflix drama 'Treason' - doesn't think he'd be in consideration to be Daniel Craig's successor as the suave spy, and views the role as very similar to parts he's already played. He said: “Is my name even on the list? “Someone brought this up the other day and they told me there are odds [for who will play the next Bond]. Then she said, ‘Not for you, sadly.’ “The honest truth is that I think there are better candidates out there than me. “The Bond itch has been scratched a litt...

Asked about his best on-set experience, Charlie replied: "I'd been cast in 'Stardust', I was 23, and I was going to Pinewood every few days for a fitting or a rehearsal. Jamie Dornan is "interested" in playing a superhero. The 40-year-old actor has seen his friends from the early days of his career, including Robert Pattinson, Andrew Garfield, and Charlie Cox – who have played Batman, Spider-Man and Daredevil respectively - all star in comic book movies, and he'd love to join them in the genre. He said: "I’d definitely be interested though you don’t hear a lot of good things about the comfort of those suits. “Its weird how all the American superheroes are British. Back then we were all young actors from the other side of the pond, trying to make it in LA. “We ...

The 'Batman' actor recently claimed he was always the last to be invited out with the 'Belfast' star and his now-famous housemates - who included Andrew Garfield, Eddie Redmayne and Charlie Cox - when they were all trying to make it in America. However, Jamie insisted they never just offered Robert a "pity invite" but rather they were unsure he'd want to hang out with them because he was always busy with acting jobs while the rest of the group were trying to get a big break. Jamie told 'Entertainment Tonight': "No!...

The 39-year-old star made a cameo appearance as Matt Murdock/Daredevil in the hit superhero movie and was shocked that Marvel boss Kevin Feige approached him to star in the flick - especially after the 2018 cancellation of the Netflix series 'Daredevil'. Charlie told The Hollywood Reporter: "It was a pretty surreal moment, I'm not going to lie. Bear in mind that it's been a few years. I was pretty convinced it was over."
