Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian says the airline is facing $500 million (€461m) in costs related to a global tech outage this month that disrupted emergency services, communications and thousands of businesses. Shares of Airbus tumbled 9.5% on Tuesday after Europe's biggest plane maker made an unscheduled announcement to cut its outlook for 2024. There could be a risk to sleeping passengers’ heart health if they consume alcohol on a long-haul flight, researchers have warned.
